Sahara means Great Desert, and it's what my bed becomes the moment you leave. Your corner is so far away that it freezes. But in the words of Joaquin Sabina, ‘when you come back there's a party in the kitchen, and dances without an orchestra, and bunches of roses with thorns...’ and heat comes back to our bed, because the Sahara is one of the hottest deserts, and the pillows and cushions rise like dunes and prop up the stories we tell and the hugs we give each other.
